The mission of the Willkie House is to develop character and esteem in young people through the promotion of academics, social skill building, health, and recreation. It is the ultimate vision of the Willkie House to assist young people in reaching their highest potential.

True to our social service mission, roughly half of our youth live below the Federal Poverty Level (and nearly all are below 250% of that level). Approximately 90% of our youth are youth of color.

While our focus is on enriching the lives of youth, our childcare services support families more broadly by enabling parents to work while we care for their children.
